“Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.” 1 John 3 vs 2 KJV
When we see him as he is, we shall be like him. How much of him have you seen? That’s how much of him you’d experience- the good news is that you’ve been called to a life of ever increasing glory: 2 Corinthians 3:18
What a glorious path we have been given: Proverbs 4:18. Read this:
“…because as he is, so are we in this world.” 1 John 4:17
As he is, so are we in this world! Not in the afterlife, not when we become aged, right now, we are exactly like him.
If grown men could fly, little baby boys would expect to fly one day because they know they are just like their Daddies, what they see from adult men color their expectation of themselves and what they eventually live out, what you see from Jesus is what you should live out; the more you see, the more you express, so the first instruction he gives any man in Christ is to see- things have changed; things are new and they are of God:
“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And all things are of God…” 2 Corinthians 5:17-18
You’ve spent enough time seeing the world and its limitations; now devote your life to seeing Jesus and being all that he wants you to be- all that he is.
