“Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.” 1 John 3 vs 2 KJV

A new creation; a new genealogy; a new lineage- what a blessing! You have a new family history; see what the head of our body did- he went to hell, and defeated satan in his own territory:

“Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;”

That’s the family you hail from. Now, when you stand before God, he wouldn’t trace your origin to one village in an ancient kingdom, he will declare that he is your origin:

“You are from God, little children…” 1 John‬ ‭4‬:‭4‬ ‭HCSB‬‬

And his holy mountain is your habitation:

“And of Zion it shall be said, This and that man was born in her: And the highest himself shall establish her.” Psalm‬ ‭87‬:‭5‬ ‭

Truly, you are not of this world, so why pretend like you are? Why take with you the communications of the world that are an expression of their limitations and sinful state? Speak the words of God concerning yourself. Do the works of God as Jesus promised, John 14:12. Now, are you the son of God.
