“Then spake the Lord to Paul in the night by a vision, Be not afraid, but speak, and hold not thy peace: for I am with thee, and no man shall set on thee to hurt thee: for I have much people in this city.”
Acts 18:9-10
Learn from Jesus, he had told his disciples to not stop speaking:
“But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another…” Matthew 10:23
And true to his being the expression of the word, when he faced stark oppositions in a city, he didn’t cower, stop, give in, relax or hold his peace, he moved on elsewhere and kept speaking. See him in different cities being opposed, and almost killed- notice his relentless response:
NAZARETH: “And rose up, and thrust him out of the city, and led him unto the brow of the hill whereon their city was built, that they might cast him down headlong. But he passing through the midst of them went his way, and came down to Capernaum, a city of Galilee, and taught them on the sabbath days.” Luke 4:29-31
GADARENES: Mark 5:17,20-21
SAMARIA: “And they did not receive him, because his face was as though he would go to Jerusalem… And they went to another village.” Luke 9:53, 56
He lived the life he gave you to live, so live his life with gusto and be just like him- don’t stop speaking; fear not!
