“And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.”  Romans 5:5

Hope maketh not ashamed; there’s a popular Nigerian colloquial expression: ‘God no go shame us’; it’s true:
“…for God has said, “I will never leave you or abandon you.””  Hebrews 13:5
But more literally, the word says ‘hope no go shame us’; the man who has an expectation would never be put to shame, not just that, he says:
“And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three…”  1 Corinthians 13:13
Hope always remains, would never fail; that which is hoped for will surely come to fruition.
There is a seriousness and determination that must be characterized by your desire for a change or a resource, learn from the example given us by the word:
“Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.”  Romans 4:18
This means when the world offers you no hope, if according to the world’s standard, hoping in that situation is futile, the word of God says, rebel- hope! Hope against hope! As long as there is life, there is hope and even if one dies; there can be a resurrection!
