“But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.”

Here are some truths to contemplate on:
“…because as he is, so are we in this world.” 1 John‬ ‭4‬:‭17‬
We are exactly as he is IN THIS WORLD, he tells us now are we the son of God:
“Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.” 1 John‬ ‭3‬:‭2‬
We have been made partakers of his divine nature:
“whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.” 2 Peter‬ ‭1‬:‭4‬
And he called us into fellowship with his son: [1 Corinthians‬ ‭1‬:‭9‬]
All of these truths show us that we ought to think as high of ourselves as the word shows us and not pretend like we are similar with the rest of the world; we are sanctified, know it, act like it.
