“Can two walk together, except they be agreed?”
Amos 3:3

The question is what is the purpose of such a company- why are we even walking with God in the first place? He tells us: it is the answer to our holy call:
“God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.” 1 Corinthians 1:9
In our fellowship with Jesus, we walk like he walked and we walk with him. We also walk with him because we are working with him as co-labourers:
“For we are labourers together with God…” 1 Corinthians 3:9
You know God anointed Jesus with the holy Ghost and with power to do good works, and he was with him in doing those good works:
“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; FOR GOD WAS WITH HIM.” Acts 10:38
He sent his disciples out to preach the gospel and do good works, and he was with them in doing those good works:
“And they went forth, and preached every where, THE LORD WORKING WITH THEM, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.” Mark 16:20
You walk with him because he has given you a ministry, his ministry and he’d fulfill it through you:
‘Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us…” 2 Corinthians 5:20
