“If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?”
1 John 4:20

The way you relate with physical instructions is an indicator of how you’d relate with spiritual instructions- the honor, priority you would give to instructions in the word of God that can be physically observed, is exactly the same attributes you’d render to spiritual instructions.
The man who neglects the gathering of the saints but insists he’s better off spiritually, is choosing ignorance and delusion because the Bible says:
“But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.”  Hebrews 3:13
In other words, our walk of righteousness is strengthened when we are found, consistently meeting with the brethren.
“…freely ye have received, freely give.”  Matthew 10:8
You would give what you have received, the love you express towards others is an indicator of the love you have come to accept God has expressed towards you. The Bible says:
“And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.”  1 Peter 4:8
This is God’s love expression towards any fault you might be involved in, when you believe this, you’d have the same expression towards the fault of others.
