“Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught.”
Luke 5:4

God’s word can influence productivity in any industry over and over; he made all things after all:
“In the beginning was the Word… All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.” John 1:1,3
So we see the efficacy of the word with fishermen
“And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes.” John 21:6, see also Luke 5:6-7.
We see the word do even more than animal farmers or hunters could have done:
“Now a wind went out from the LORD and brought quail from the sea, and let them fall near the camp, about a day’s journey on this side, and about a day’s journey on the other side, all around the camp, and about three feet high on the surface of the ground.” Numbers 11:31, NET
Irrespective of the industry or trade, God’s word is relevant for direction and fruitfulness: Daniel 1:17, ERV.
No wonder he tells us:
“In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” Proverbs 3:6
Success in life; in any aspect of life is directly linked to your fellowship with and consciousness of God’s word: Joshua 1:8.
