Luke 5:4
The Bible tells us:
“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:10
God already planned all you ought to do on the earth and he called them good works, he specially fabricated you to be suited for his purpose for your life and so what should be your response?
“JOD. Thy hands have made me and fashioned me: give me understanding, that I may learn thy commandments.” Psalms 119:73
An insistence on learning and understanding his word.
Jesus said:
“I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.” John 15:5
He is the word of God, absent of the word, nothing you do would count with God, you might receive the praises of men but with God, it’ll mean nothing.
Again, learn from Moses, because he ignored God’s word and brought water out of the rock the way he saw fit, God was displeased with him. The people got the water though and celebrated him, but it counted as nothing to God.
