“And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:”
1 Corinthians 1:28

The bible tells us:
“For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God…” 1 Corinthians 3:19
So what the world esteems as high expressions of wisdom can be ridiculed by God at any given moment because he works miracles; works that defy the laws with which man and his five senses are bound to.
In fact, God can do far beyond the imaginations of man, it is no surprise that the ways of God can seem unreal to man and his actions unbelievable, because there are no human equations that can predict them.
All of that to say, in his wisdom, he revealed to us that which he uses to create and to bring to nothing- words! It might seem foolish to man, but that is exactly what we have established prior, God’s ways are not man’s ways, he made salvation available through words- the foolishness of preaching, and he has told us how to live that sanctified life; through words.
“For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.” 1 Corinthians 1:21
The sword of the Spirit is the word of God and God expects you to be skilled in using the word to make things right; it is called the word of righteousness (Hebrews 5:13-14) vocalizing the word to make things right in your body, family, finances; creating and/or bringing to nothing situations that are against the manifestation of God’s righteousness in your life.
