“See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.”  
1 Thessalonians 5:15

You have been called to inherit a blessing out of every situation- good, not so good, tough or easy! Your inheritance, your portion out of that situation is a blessing!
“Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing.”  1 Peter 3:9
Knowing this, he says instead of rendering evil for evil, render blessing instead because you are seeing that situation with the eyes of the word, because you expect blessing out of it, render blessing instead of evil or railing.
It is your calling to inherit a blessing and in that call, bless others! Remember this:
“Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all.”  2 Thessalonians 3:16
Peace always by all means is the Spirit’s desire for you, he is the Lord (the master) of peace; he instructs peace where to go, he is boss over peace, this Lord of peace is determined to give you peace always! Always!! So in that seeming turbulent situation, peace is possible, peace should be yours! When people insult you or work evil against you, peace is possible in that situation, peace is yours; he will give you peace always by all means!
Instead of being boxed up in your responses because of unpleasant situations, remember the Lord of peace is on your side, directing peace to you and that situation would produce a blessing for you!
