“For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.”
2 Corinthians 4:16
The inward man being renewed day by day doesn’t happen as a baptism or like magic, there are some activities to be done to enable that happen. The word of God tells us:
“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” Romans 12:2
First thing for a renewal is a realization that you are not of this world, while the world might focus on challenges or the well being/rejuvenation of their outward expression, you are not like them and so don’t conform- don’t be pressured or taken aback by external happenings, instead he says be transformed.
This means it is your responsibility to choose nonconformity and to transform your life and he says you transform your life by renewing your mind- that is your responsibility! This means take out the old ways of thinking and the old files stored in your mind, gotten from the world or your experiences in life and replace them with new ones gotten from the word of God.
Renewing your mind day by day is not only possible but should be your constant disposition as you plan to listen to the word every day and to exalt and submit to the word of God that you hear irrespective of whatever your body, friends, family, environment or government suggests.
