“For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.”  
2 Corinthians 4:16

Day by day; that’s the renewal timeline for your spirit, not once a week or twice a month, but day by day. God told the children of Israel:
“Then said the LORD unto Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; and the people shall go out and gather a certain rate every day…”  Exodus 16:4
Jesus said:
“I am that bread of life. This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die.” John 6:48,50
And Jesus is the word of God made flesh. We ought to take the word of God everyday and be ever inspired by the Apostle Paul who said:
“I thank my God, I speak with tongues more than ye all:”  1 Corinthians 14:18
And by our Lord Jesus who said:
“…My Father worketh hitherto, and I work.”  John 5:17
Meaning he was conscious of the Father’s activity every moment of the day- he was so in tune with the father and so led by him and this should be our life’s focus. Prioritize the word of God, Jesus is our life, and if he centered on his fellowship with the father then there is no shortcut to walking in all of God’s fullness and walking in God’s plan for our lives- we should spend time fellowshipping with him and he gives us the revelation and information we require in his written word:
“That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.”  1 John 1:3
