“For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.” Hebrews‬ ‭5‬:‭12

A teacher does not offend in word, he doesn’t walk as a mere man- he doesn’t long after or judge situations according to the mental reasonings or persuasions of men, he is always on the side of the word- doing and expressing the word in every circumstance. Hear what Jesus told Satan:
“…Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.” Matthew‬ ‭16‬:‭23‬
Satan causes offense by making people judge things carnally, the way the world, society or their fellow ‘men’ would appreciate, so a Christian- as full as he is of the Holy Ghost- could easily find himself being carnal and walking as a sinner:
“For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?” 1 Corinthians‬ ‭3‬:‭3
That is not the way of the Spirit; grow and use the word of God to judge your intentions and actions always in all sincerity. Galatians 5:17
