“Then said they unto him, Where is thy Father? Jesus answered, Ye neither know me, nor my Father: if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also.”
John 8:19
The Bible tells us that when we behold the glory of God, we are changed into the same image (the same glory we behold) from glory (what we beheld) to glory!
So you realize the kindness of Jesus, when he prayed to the father:
“Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me…” John 17:24
Amazing!! He prayed that we shared and function in the same position and with the same glory and glorious image. And yes, he got the answer to his prayers, because this is our reality today:
“And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:” Ephesians 2:6
Same position!
“…as he is, so are we in this world.” 1 John 4:17, see also: 1 John 3:1-2.
Same image— right here, right now!
And wasn’t that God’s original desire for mankind after all? Genesis 1:26! How selfless our heavenly family is!!
