“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”
Romans 10:9

The Lord of your life is the Lord of peace and he is Lord of all! What’s more? The word sets him as the example for you to follow and the Father called you to fellowship with him!
In his exemplifying righteous living, he did this:
“He riseth from supper, and laid aside his garments; and took a towel, and girded himself. After that he poureth water into a bason, and began to wash the disciples’ feet, and to wipe them with the towel wherewith he was girded.” John 13:4-5
Then he said this:
“Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am. If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another’s feet. For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you.” John 13:13-15
And he expects you to serve in humility; serve through the word of God in absolute humility.
Now that he is Lord of your life, he has expectations of your life- he wants you to be great in the kingdom- serving in the word, doing the word and teaching the word:
“But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister; And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant:” Matthew 20:26-27
“…whosoever shall do and teach them [the commandments], the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 5:19
