“Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation. Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.” Hebrews 13:7-8
And he wants you to prove it, he wants you to live like it.
“…He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also…” John 14:12
All he did, he wants you to do also, and all he will do today, he wants to do through you
“…In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.” Mark 16:17-18
You have to know it. There’s more to your being a Christian than having your needs met, there is that divine life you received when you got born again, that you ought to live.
“In him was life; and the life was the light of men.” John 1:4
In living that life, you would change society, you would influence the lives of men for the better and you would deliver many from the powerless and deceitful clutches of death and satan; that is what Jesus did and that is what you should enforce:
“…through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;” Hebrews 2:14
“…much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)” Romans 5:17
Focusing on these realities is a position of faith: God has met all your needs, he has been so good to you, he has ensured nothing is too good for you and now all the time you have is to work with him and in him in reaching others gloriously!
