“He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.”
1 John 4:8

God is love.
No wonder the Bible tells us:
“… we can now experience the endless love of God cascading into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who lives in us!” Romans 5:5, TPT
When the Spirit of God, who himself is God, came to dwell in our hearts, he poured the love of God to the overflow in our hearts.
The first thing Jesus wanted us to know about God was his great love for us, the first thing the Spirit of God lavished in our spirits when he came to reside in us was the love of God, because what he desires for us is that we walk in love!
Just as there are challenges to our faith, there would always be challenges to our love, which in reality are still challenges— that come to make us stagger at the word of God that tells us to love irrespective— to our faith:
“Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come!” Luke 17:1
But you will win because the greater one lives in you, and he has enough love inside of you to overcome any questionable circumstance! 1 John 4:4.
