“That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;”
Colossians 1:10
Jesus made a remarkable statement:
“…no man knoweth the Son, but the Father…” Matthew 11:27
He said no man knew him but the father, and you realize the extent to which God would know anybody- the most vast and in its entirety, and that is no surprise because he is God after all. Then he goes on to say:
“…neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son…” Matthew 11:27
So Jesus is claiming that he knows God entirely just as God knows him entirely! He repeats himself:
“As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father…” John 10:15
But he doesn’t stop there:
“…and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him.” Matthew 11:27
He says this revelation of God that he has, he can grant to someone else, so asides from Jesus, it is possible that others can know God in his entirety! Contemplate on this.
