“And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.” Luke 2:52
The Bible tells us of Jesus, that as he increased in years, he increased in favour with God and with man and you see the same in the life of Joseph, even if it didn’t seem like it externally, he grew in favour.
The type of men he had to associate with got more distant and higher in rank, and these were increasing conditions were things should have been tougher for him, despite the worse conditions, the greater rank of the individual and the more alien he was from them, he still walked in God’s favour.
His father: Genesis 37:3
Potiphar: Genesis 39:4
Keeper of the Prison: Genesis 39:21
Pharoah: Genesis 41:44, Acts 7:10
Do not live your life as though the favour you experience is for a fixed season or from familiar faces, be conscious of increased favour despite tougher situations and alienated individuals.
