“And delivered him out of all his afflictions, and gave him favour and wisdom in the sight of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and he made him governor over Egypt and all his house.” Acts 7:10
He tells what moved Pharaoh to make a prisoner governor over Egypt and his own house- it wasn’t normal! It would have been perfectly fine if Joseph- a foreigner in the land- had been an advisor to the king from prison with the condition that things were a bit easier for him, but he shows what the favour of God upon a man can do, it makes those around him see and judge him differently and have a desire to elevate and work closely with him.
This is what the Bible says God is more than able to do for you:
“And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:” 2 Corinthians 9:8
Where ‘just enough’ isn’t what you get, but you are blessed to the overflow:
“He brought me forth also into a large place; he delivered me, because he delighted in me.” Psalms 18:18
