One Soul Can Bring Many.
“And many of the Samaritans of that city believed on him for the saying of the woman, which testified, He told me all that ever I did.” John 4:39
Jesus ministered to the woman at the Samaritan well, and she believed in him, but she didn’t stop there, once she believed and drank of that water, it became a well and sprung from her; causing others to drink of the same water: John 4:14
She went about testifying of the Lord- immediately!
She didn’t waste time! Spiritual growth is necessary and we should be committed to spending our time; learning more of the word, but the only day promised us for the preaching of the gospel and the salvation of any soul is “now!”, “today!”: 2 Corinthians 6:2
If she didn’t go preaching, how would we have known the whole city was longing for something? Thank God she did, and thank God Jesus reached her, just one woman brought many souls.
Don’t underestimate what reaching out to just that one person in possibly the most unpleasant circumstance can do for the souls of others.
