“This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.”
1 John 1:5

He tells us God is light and in him is no darkness at all, when we fellowship with him, he assures us we would not leave confused; we would know what to do. Through his word, he provides guidance and we see this manifest in the lives of all who walked with him, even in the most unplanned situations- he provided guidance:
“And saith unto them, Go your way into the village over against you: and as soon as ye be entered into it, ye shall find a colt tied, whereon never man sat; loose him, and bring him.” Mark 11:2 (see also verse 3)
Simple, child-like, yet miraculously productive:
“And they went their way, and found the colt tied by the door without in a place where two ways met; and they loose him.” Mark 11:4 (see also verse 5-7)
Remember the one providing the counsel is ahead in time and space, meaning whatever instruction you’re being given has met its result already- he just expects you to play your part and do the word!
“If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and DO NOT THE truth:” 1 John 1:6
