“This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.”
1 John 1:5
Who do you look at, who do you listen to? Don’t just leave the answers to these questions to chance.
“My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.” Proverbs 4:20-21
The decision to be strict about who and what gets your attention is yours to make and be vicious about, he tells us:
“Above everything else guard your heart, because from it flow the springs of life.” Proverbs 4:23, ISV
Jesus said: “…Take heed what ye hear…” Mark 4:24
It matters what you hear, and so insist on God’s word because the Bible tells us:
“There are, it may be, so many kinds of voices in the world, and none of them is without signification.” 1 Corinthians 14:10
Every voice is significant and is either guiding you along the path of light or darkness.
