“A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance: But by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken.”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭15‬:‭13‬

The Bible says:
“(for we walk by faith, not by sight:)” ‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭5‬:‭7‬
That’s how we walk, we don’t live our lives based on our five senses but we let the word of God dictate our reality, feelings and expressions.
Singing is the expression of a merry man; and you are a merry man, so have a song on your lips and keep a melody in your heart just for the Lord.
If that is how you are filled with the Spirit, then it means God must not like sadness and complaints (he doesn’t- 1 Corinthians 10:10) and he must really love it when you are joyful in abundance or in any challenge; he does. Hear what wisdom said: Proverbs 8:30-31
His delight is with you; when he said he’d never leave you nor forsake you, he was very happy to be in that position, don’t forget him and live a sad life as though he’s non existent. Be conscious of his presence and sing to him always as the merry (wo)man that you are!
