“Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.”
Matthew 5:14 KJV
The Bible says:
“The sun shall be no more thy light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee: but the LORD shall be unto thee an everlasting light, and thy God thy glory.” Isaiah 60:19
The word of God is light and because the word of God would be your everlasting light and glory, meaning you no longer rely on what you see carnally for your descriptions, guidance and directions, God says:
“…I will make thee an eternal excellency, a joy of many generations.” Isaiah 60:15
Meaning, your presence would cause men of every generation to rejoice, meaning you have something of relevance for every age group! No wonder he started the chapter with a fervent instruction: “Arise, shine!!!” Isaiah 60:1
Stop hiding, it’s time to get up and give men the everlasting light and cause them to move from despair to joy! Believe the word of God, believe that you have something that works!
