“For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.”
Romans 10:11
Something quite interesting happened one day in Cana; it was a wedding ceremony and they ran out of wine, an attendee got to hear the news and remembered that she knew someone who could do something- he didn’t work in a winery neither was he a salesman, he was more; much more:
“When the wine ran out, Jesus’ mother told him, “They don’t have any more wine.”” John 2:3, ISV
Beautiful Jesus!
Hear him; the extraordinary strategist and the way maker:
“Now standing there were six stone water jars used for the Jewish rites of purification, each one holding from 20 to 30 gallons. Jesus told the servants, “Fill the jars with water.” So they filled them up to the brim. Then he told them, “Now draw some out and take it to the man in charge of the banquet.” So they did.” John 2:6-8
He told them to take cleaning water to the man in charge for tasting!!! You’d wonder, why didn’t he turn the water to wine first, then ask the servants to draw- that would have impressed, inspired and motivated them!? He didn’t; man’s ways are not God’s ways.
It will take faith to take dirty water for tasting as wine; but they already heard his mom say: “Do whatever he tells you.” John 2:5
Watch the end:
“When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine..(he) called the bridegroom,And saith unto him…thou hast kept the good wine until now.” John 2:9-10
At times through the word of God you are inspired to take an action or make a move; do so! Do what the word of God tells you, he doesn’t promise a beautiful beginning, but he sure has an expected end- at first it might seem stupid, but at the end, it will work!
