“Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour.”
John 12:27
The Bible tells us:
“There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.” 1 Corinthians 10:13
You are well equipped to face whatever challenge comes your way, even if it’s just for the very reason that the one inside you is greater than all: 1 John 4:4
Not just that, God has a way of escape for you in every given challenge and that way is that “you may be able to bear it”, in simpler terms, he enables you to win- which is his good pleasure:
“For it is God (the greater one) which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.”Philippians 2:13
If faith is the victory and faith is insisting on God’s word, then it is only victory when it is matched and is an expression of God’s word, so when dealing with the devil- cast him out and resist him, that’s the victory, James 4:7, 1 Peter 5:8-9, Mark 16:17. When dealing with concerns and cares-cast them on the Lord, that’s the victory, 1 Peter 5:7. When dealing with youthful lusts- flee, that’s the victory, 2 Timothy 2:22.
