“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”  
John 10:10

Jesus said the devil’s purpose and traits on the earth forever can and will always be defined by three things: theft, murder and destruction.
Anytime there is theft- theft of good health, sanity, joy, etc. Satan is involved, he arrives at a place and expects to leave the place with something. When there is loss; the loss of life and hope, Satan is somewhere with his ugly head causing such a loss, Jesus called him a murderer!
“Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning…”  John 8:44
His goal is destruction, to ruin as many things as he can, he wants to destroy that plan, family, business, life! So you can rightly trace all destruction on the earth to him, he is always seeking whom to devour; whose life he can ruin- terrible!
“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:”  1Peter 5:8
Jesus came to put an end to his mission permanently forever. You would think since Satan came to steal, kill and destroy, Jesus would say he came with a very strong padlock, burglary proof door and fire extinguisher, but he didn’t, because those things won’t work. Instead he came with a life, that when a man receives- theft, murder and destruction should end in his life forever!
Being born again is a big deal, you were delivered from the woes of this life, and you have to always remember this- nothing can steal from you, kill you or destroy you!
