“And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.”
Luke 5:6

Man’s limitations have nothing to do with God and his ability to bless and lift a man. Listen to this:
“He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes…”  1 Samuel 2:8
You wonder, how does a beggar even qualify to sit amongst princes, maybe it’s a joke, the he says it again:
“He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth the needy out of the dunghill; That he may set him with princes, even with the princes of his people.” Psalms 113:7-8
So he is serious, meaning when he decides to promote a man, the history of that mean is irrelevant to the destination planned for him by God, no wonder he says:
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”  Jeremiah 29:11
His focus is the end not the beginning, because nobody chooses the family or country he or she is born into, but through the Spirit of God, you can walk in the path of righteousness unto an expected end.
In the main verse, Peter had said:
“…Master, we have toiled all the night…”  Luke 5:5
Meaning by man’s standard, Jesus would have to give them all of the time spent and more for them to at least catch one fish, but God is not limited by the complaints of man. At his word, they caught a multitude of fishes in a few moment that tore the net. Don’t limit God in your mind; in a split second you can have all and more of all you’ve been ‘hustling’ for for years.
