“
Be imitators of God in everything you do, for then you will represent your Father as his beloved sons and daughters.” Ephesians 5:1, TPT
The Bible says copy God! Great news!!
He didn’t say copy a Prophet, Seer or Rabbi, he says copy, imitate God- this means you must be really special; far more than what meets the eye!
So we don’t respond like Elijah when pressed with a challenge, neither do we respond like David, we respond like God.
“Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person…” Hebrews 11:3
Jesus is his express image, and so our lives become the replica of his life because after all he has given us his life to live on the earth.
When people were plotting against God:
“The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed…He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh:” Psalms 2:2,4
He laughed!
Throughout this new year, when things seem to be against you, irrespective of the challenge- laugh! Don’t wait till you feel like it, if you were sitting somewhere and heard there was fire, you wouldn’t wait to check your feeling before you get up and go help someone. Feelings for the most part as a Christian are as relevant to you, as much as they have been trained with the word!
Your laughter is an act of faith not of feeling because you know, nothing is big enough to cause you to bend over! The greater one lives in you!
