“And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.” Mark 1:35
There’s so much to learn from Jesus when it comes to prayer, he had taught:
“…that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;” Luke 18:1
And because he was man on the earth, he prayed.
You see his deliberateness when it came to prayer, he woke up way before dawn and went to a quiet place and prayed. This wasn’t ‘praying on the go’, or praying in a busy place ‘because there’s no time’, knowing all of that were options, he still showed us what should be done when we pray- be deliberate; the timing and place are important. Choose a time and place where you’d give God your full attention without distractions; he wants it:
“My son, give me thine heart…” Proverbs 23:26
“My son… incline thine ear unto my sayings.” Proverbs 4:20
