“That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;”
Colossians 1:10
Increase in your knowledge of God- there’s still so much to learn of him in his word. Plan your time around your study of the word.
This is what God wants- submit and do.
Learn from Jesus:
“And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.” Mark 1:35
He prioritized his time of fellowship- because he knew he would have a busy day, he woke up early to pray and true to what he thought, he was barely done before he was alerted of the responsibilities of the day:
“And when they had found him, they said unto him, All men seek for thee. And he said unto them, Let us go into the next towns, that I may preach there also: for therefore came I forth.” Mark 1:37-38
He prioritized fellowship with God because he said:
“Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.” John 5:19, see also John 14:10.
He knew that nobody could be fruitful and productive outside consistent fellowship with God. Learn this and copy Jesus:
“He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.” 1 John 2:6
