“And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;”
Luke 18:1
Pray, people can change even the most unjust- those who do not fear God or fear man! Don’t let yourself be overwhelmed by the seeming demeanor of the opposition, there can be a change that will work for your favour. The Bible says:
“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” Hebrews 11:6
Anyone who comes to God is walking in his pleasure and the Bible says:
“When a man’s ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.” Proverbs 16:7
Pray. Jesus told of a judge who had no regard for God or for man; in other words nobody could talk to him, but because a woman persisted, he changed his position.
The good news is we have seen cases where men (example Laban, Jacob’s uncle) had no regard for God, but when he showed up; they changed their positions:
“It is in the power of my hand to do you hurt: but the God of your father spake unto me yesternight, saying, Take thou heed that thou speak not to Jacob either good or bad.” Genesis 31:29
This is the God that is telling you to pray and not give in!
