“Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you: and that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith.” 2 Thessalonians‬ ‭3‬:‭1‬-‭2‬
God expects that just as you minister the gospel, you should likewise pray for ministers of the gospel, that when they share the word, the word is met without resistance, received and glorified wherever the word is being shared.
He takes it even further and suggests that in your praying for the reception of the word, your desire would be that all that hear the word would become just as passionately committed to the word of God as you- they wouldn’t just receive eternal life, they would likewise become ministers of the gospel and of life.
