“praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭6‬:‭18‬ ‭KJV‬‬

When we pray for others they are strengthened and there can be a conversion; look at this:
“If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it.” ‭‭1 John‬ ‭5‬:‭16‬
“Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him; let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.” ‭‭James‬ ‭5‬:‭19‬-‭20‬
Jesus also prayed with such expectations:
“but I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.” ‭‭Luke‬ ‭22‬:‭32‬
So when you suddenly have a believer who is slipping and now excuses sin and iniquity, pray, expecting there would be a conversion. Don’t ignore, pray.
