“praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;”
Ephesians 6:18 KJV
The Bible tells us:
“There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man…” 1 Corinthians 10:13
Every challenge that happens to one is common to man and can happen to another; and just as he expects us to endure and win:
“…but God is faithful, who will… with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.” 1 Corinthians 10:13
You pray for others that they are strengthened to endure and win challenges that are necessary for their destiny.
Jesus was strengthened to continue on the path required for his destiny:
“And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him.” Luke 22:43
Even when he had a different desire and prayed about it:
“saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.” Luke 22:42
Same with you, the Bible tells us that prayers long after those prayed for (2 Corinthians 9:14), pray for the brethren!
