“praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;”
Ephesians 6:18 KJV
Hear Jesus clearly:
“And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat:” Luke 22:31
Satan had targeted the saints to separate them unto destruction; he hasn’t changed, but Jesus’ response gives us insight on how to respond:
“but I have prayed for thee…” Luke 22:32
And his certainty that his praying had changed the situation, should inspire faith in us to know that when we pray for others, we are certainly causing changes:
“…when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.” Luke 22:32
Jesus prayed for Peter that his faith didn’t fail, that he would have the victory because faith is the victory, giving us the contents of our prayer to God for other believers that might be faced with such circumstance that can make them even doubt the existence of God or what they’ve believed; don’t judge:
“There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?” James 4:12
Pray!
