“Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;” Ephesians 6:18
Read this:
“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Ephesians 6:12
Preserving in prayer isn’t just when it comes to you alone, he asks us to preserve for ALL saints, having shown us in Ephesians 6:12, the forces adversarial to Christians around the world.
Look beyond the senses and realize that there are people who make unconscious decisions that would eventually mar them and those around them, and our response to this information is to pray- pray and don’t give up; he says persevere!
Remember that mad man at the Gadarenes? He was hurting himself and screaming:
“And always, night and day, he was in the mountains, and in the tombs, crying, and cutting himself with stones.” Mark 5:5
Yet he couldn’t stop, until he saw Jesus and ran for help and got delivered, Mark 5:2.
There are people influenced accordingly by these wicked and evil spirits, they know they’re hurting themselves but can’t stop- so the Bible says, pray for them and don’t stop!
