“To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:” Romans 2:7

God told Moses concerning Aaron:
“And thou shalt make holy garments for Aaron thy brother for glory and for beauty… that they may make Aaron’s garments to consecrate him.” Exodus 28:2-3
It mattered to God how the one who represented him looked- glorious, beautiful and sanctified.
It matters to God how you live your life, especially because he dwells in you through the Holy Ghost.
Don’t get carried away by the trends in this world- always be found expressing the glory of God- his perfections and excellencies- in all that concern you!
You are not just a priest, but a royal priest- in his washing away your sins, he made you a king and a priest:
“And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father…” Revelation 1:6, see also 1 Peter 2:9
Listen to Jesus: John 17:19
That old, wretched, depraved man has died; the new man has come (Romans 6:6-8); far removed from the decadence in this world. Recognize who you are and live accordingly!
“…by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.” 2 Peter 1:4
