“To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:” Romans 2:7
You are precious to God, valuable and worth every sacrifice Jesus made; the Bible tells us:
“…he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.” Isaiah 53:10
He wanted to prolong his days on the earth through you- you are the result (offspring, seed) of his sacrifice and it matters what you think about yourself. Hear Paul:
“I pray to God that both you and those here listening to me would one day become the same as I am, except, of course, without these chains.” Acts 26:29, ERV
He said he wished all who heard him were like him asides for his prison chains; in other words he thought he was in a far better place and state than everyone who heard him. See the description of his listeners:
“The next day King Agrippa and Bernice entered the audience hall with much pomp and pageantry. Accompanying them were the senior military officers and prominent citizens. Festus (the governor)…” Acts 25:23, ERV
And he wasn’t intimidated! The life of God he received had brought him into glory! Such glory that far surpassed the splendor of humans and their titles- see 2 Corinthians 3:4-12, 1 Peter 1:24.
