“To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood:” (Galatians 1:16).

Once you got born again, your position in the word and in life changed, you became a child of the living God and so when you study the word and find God talking to his children, he’s talking to you also. The Bible tells us: 1 John 3:2
Right now, you are his child, the first and the best: James 1:18
and so what would he have you do? Look into his word (your mirror) to find out who you are, do what you see and don’t forget:
“But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.” James 1:22
And this remembrance would not only influence your demeanor: James 1:19.
But also your passion, pursuits and how you conduct yourself:
“For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.” 2 Corinthians 5:14-15
