“Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.” Matthew 17:21

The Bible tells us:
“That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.” Hebrews 6:12
Meaning don’t waste time, go ahead and follow those who inherited the promises, and in the next verse, he gives us an example: Abraham, see also Hebrews 11:17, Hebrews 11:39-40.
The Bible tells us Abraham abandoned himself on what God had said- even when he had nothing to hope for, he stayed on the word:
“Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.” Romans 4:18
He gave himself to the word despite all the mockery and uncertainty that could have risen and he became a fervent example for us all, and God being so impressed ensured that his seed- we that are God’s, Christ’s- would be called Abraham’s seed.
Give yourself to the word, prepare for the certain and definite challenges that will come your way!
