“Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,”
Ephesians 3:20

God’s desire is to give you what you want and surpass your expectation, he is your dad; your super dad!
Jesus knew the Father more than anyone till we came and listen to him:
“At that day ye shall ask in my name…For the Father himself loveth you…” John 16:26-27
“Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.”  Luke 12:32
“If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?”  Matthew 7:11
He wanted you to be well provided for and so prosperous that it came with salvation:
“I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.”  John 10:9
In your going out and coming in, he wants you finding pasture; being prosperous!
So there is no question about God’s willingness to surpass our expectations. In the main verse he adds an important factor “according to the power that workers in us”. This is great news, it means whenever we are ready, we would have what we desire.
It’s like owning a radio, you know the stations are always transmitting, but it’s not every time you want to listen, but whenever you’re ready, you can always turn on the radio with confidence, knowing you’d surely find a station transmitting.
“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you…”  Act 1:8
When we received the holy Ghost, we received power! Whatever we want, we have the ability to cause changes inside of us!
