See what the word of God can do:
“And the ark of the LORD continued in the house of Obed-edom the Gittite three months: and the LORD blessed Obed-edom, and all his household. And it was told king David, saying, The LORD hath blessed the house of Obed-edom, and all that pertaineth unto him, because of the ark of God. So David went and brought up the ark of God from the house of Obed-edom into the city of David with gladness.”
‭‭2 Samuel‬ ‭6‬:‭11‬-‭12‬ ‭KJV‬‬
What made the ark special were the tablets inside; the word spoken and written by God upon stones.
“And I made an ark of shittim wood, and hewed two tables of stone like unto the first, and went up into the mount, having the two tables in mine hand. And he wrote on the tables, according to the first writing, the ten commandments, which the LORD spake unto you in the mount out of the midst of the fire in the day of the assembly: and the LORD gave them unto me. And I turned myself and came down from the mount, and put the tables in the ark which I had made; and there they be, as the LORD commanded me.” Deuteronomy‬ ‭10‬:‭3‬-‭5‬
The word of God present in the house of Obededom caused him to flourish- this is what the word of God can do for you and your family and guess what? The glory of the law inscribed on those stones that were placed in the ark cannot be called glory compared to the word of God those of us in Christ behold: [2 Corinthians 3:12-18]
The Bible asks us to make our petitions known to God, being anxious for nothing:
“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.” Philippians‬ ‭4‬:‭6‬
It is also very clear that the word of God can bring you to a state where you are unaffected by news that tend to cause anxiety, through meditation in prayer:
“But his delight is in the law of the LORD; And in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, That bringeth forth his fruit in his season; His leaf also shall not wither; And whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.” Psalm‬ ‭1‬:‭2‬-‭3‬
Understand that knowing God’s word pulls to you all of the blessings you could ever require, 2 Corinthians 9:8, and you must be conscious of what the word, through your fellowship with him has handed to you, so you can enjoy them.
When God made Solomon wise:
“behold, I have done according to thy words: lo, I have given thee a wise and an understanding heart; so that there was none like thee before thee, neither after thee shall any arise like unto thee.” ‭‭1 Kings‬ ‭3‬:‭12‬
He had to tell him these also:
“And I have also given thee that which thou hast not asked, both riches, and honour: so that there shall not be any among the kings like unto thee all thy days.” ‭‭1 Kings‬ ‭3‬:‭13‬
So he would know they were present and would enjoy them, even though it is clear that riches and honour are automatic companions and expressions of wisdom. Proverbs 8:18
So be conscious that promotion comes from God and so does provision, and through meditation you are placed in a state of surplus always; in your consciousness, you would always be granted opportunities to enjoy them:
“And truly IF THEY HAD KEPT IN MIND the country from which they went out, THEY WOULD HAVE HAD CHANCES of turning back” Hebrews 11:15, BBE
