“Let the saints be joyful in glory: Let them sing aloud upon their beds.” ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭149‬:‭5‬
In Daniel 2:28, King Nebuchadnezzar was thinking about that which was to come upon his bed, thoughts of the future and like him, many people tend to think about their present or future on their beds; for some in worry and despair because of what they are experiencing in the present or what the future holds, some people even can’t sleep because they are so bothered! The word says, your case should be different, if you wake up suddenly in the middle of the night, be joyful in glory and sing ALOUD on your beds. It is noteworthy that he mentions being joyful first, so you have an idea of the kind of songs you should sing! Don’t fret, worry or be anxious- sing ALOUD to the Lord instead and when you’re not singing, let nothing disturb your sleep: Proverbs 3:24, Psalms 4:8.
