“Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling,
not according to our works, but according to his own
purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus
before the world began,”
2Timothy 1:9
“…and called us with an holy calling…”
He called you to receive salvation, he called you because
that was his plan all along, he called you for a purpose:
“Moreover whom he did predestinate, them HE ALSO
CALLED: and whom he called, them he also justified: and
whom he justified, them HE ALSO GLORIFIED.” Romans
8:30
“Whereunto he CALLED YOU by our gospel, TO the OBTAINING of THE GLORY of our Lord Jesus
Christ.” 2Thessalonians 2:14
There is a life of glory for you! A more supernatural life,
Jesus brought that life, just for you:
“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to
destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that
they might have it more abundantly.” John 10:10
“more abundantly” is from the Greek “perissos”
which means “super abundant, superior, advantage,
superfluous, very highly”
There is a superior life to be lived, and God sent Jesus to
give you that life, so when you heard the message of
salvation, he saved you so you could receive this new,
divine and supernatural life, and live everyday with an
advantage. This is a life of glory.
God has a plan for your life and we know the whole content of that plan is glory- he wants you to live the glorious life; to live in glory!
