“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.”
Ephesians 2:10
You have been crafted unto good works- there are gracious and glorious expectations of your actions and your life.
Jesus went about doing good- healing all that were oppressed [Acts 10:38]
The good works he was empowered by God’s Spirit to do, were supernatural. Now that you have received the holy Ghost, there are supernatural good works God expects you to do. Firstly, he said you have a message of reconciliation to share:
“And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation… and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.” 2 Corinthians 5:18-19
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth…” Romans 1:16
And that message is the power of God to change lives; when a man receives the gospel he has received the ability to live a glorious divine life because immediately he accepts the gospel, a new man is born on the scene and the old unbelieving struggling and lustful man is gone. What a supernatural change, that God can wrought through you when you preach the gospel.
