“For as touching the ministering to the saints, it is superfluous for me to write to you: for I know the forwardness of your mind… and your zeal hath provoked very many.”

The word of God shows being forward(ready and eager) in your mind and purposeful in your heart when it comes to giving is so important, that way whatever you give isn’t done out of sadness or anger but as a result of your already set plan to give.
“Every man according as he PURPOSETH IN HIS HEART, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.” ‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭9‬:‭7‬
Just like you can set a target for yourself to increase your time spent studying the word and the quality of attention you give to the word, it’s in the same way, God expects you to concerning what you give and how you plan to give; because you are purposeful about your giving, you can always abound in it- and you should.
