“So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also.”
Romans 1:15
The Spirit of God guided Philip to join the chariot of a highly placed Ethiopian eunuch; not telling him specifically what he needed him to do in that chariot:
“Then the Spirit said unto Philip, Go near, and join thyself to this chariot.” Acts 8:29
But Philip, ever ready to share the good news, got the eunuch saved.
Can you be inspired by this? That when you meet people, the first thought on your mind is the state of their soul and the gospel on your lips rather than mundane things?
Look at the Apostle Paul:
:And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples” Acts 19:1
He meets twelve men and the first thing he seeks is the state of their soul, and having found out they were already disicples, he goes ahead to other things.
Being ever ready to share the goodnews is a commitment you must make, irrespective of your feelings. Realize, that not hearing the gospel is not an option for anybody- they must hear and many would hear it from your lips.
